Our Story

The Nye Companies LLC is a true reflection of what clients have been requesting over the last 25 years.  North Carolina State University horticulture trained, a North Carolina Landscape Contractor, and licensed in both states for lawn treatments, we provide our clients a knowledge based formula to create a winning solution to your landscape and ongoing upkeep.

From the beginning

My career started more of a way to pay back my dad for a "loan." I took that problem and solved it by mowing neighborhood lawns which started a lifetime career of helping clients with their landscape needs.

Where we are now

With over 25 years of service, we now cover two major areas in North Carolina - the Charlotte metro and suburban areas, in addition to the Southport/Oak Island/St. James areas. We have concentrated on custom design with installs, irrigation installs, irrigation repair, irrigation yearly start ups and winterizations, yearly fertilization programs, and ongoing weekly-biweekly routine lawn maintenance services in our Southport/Oak Island/St. James.
